I like to take long walks in the morning. They help me focus on what I want to accomplish with my stories, and I've had many plot-line revelations while pacing (also in the shower, but it's not as chic to say so).

Now, close to my home and on the way to the park where I like to walk, there is a canal. Along this canal there is practically an army of ducks which have gotten into the habit of waiting for me to bring them bread. Which I do. Every day.

As well as the ducks, there are a pair of two crows, mother and son, from their sizes, who come to get some food as well. I try to save some meat and more interesting things than bread for them and they have gotten into the habit of asking for a particular kind of cereal bars I ofered once and their crow palates found delectable. Which means, of course, I am especially buying the bar packets for the crows, now.

I think I am edging into crazy cat lady territory but about three decades too early...and with fowl and corvids.

Just heard word from the powers-that-be, that The Tearings has a release date. Ready for it?

It's November 22nd!

Now, if you're like me, that date stands for "the day before the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary". If you're not insane, however, it's just a Friday.
